Ons Land ons Volk

The national anthem of the Transvaal (Afrikaans and Dutch: Volkslied van Transvaal) was the national anthem of the independent Boer Republic of the South African Republic, which was also known as the Transvaal Republic. It is one of many South African Flag songs.

The words and music of the Transvaalse Volkslied are by Catharina F van Rees, and it is dated 1875 - surprisingly it dates to the period before the annexation of 1879, because the emotions seem to blend well with those of the victorious rebels of 1881. Possibly, this date accounts for the song's non-avoidance of the word Transvaal, which was the name of the state so strongly rejected in the uprising of 1880-81. The arrangement is by G G Cillie.

   First verse
Kent gij dat volk vol heldenmoed Ken jy die Volk vol heldemoed, Do you know the nation full of heroism,
En toch zo lang geknecht? En tog so lank verkneg, And yet so long oppressed?
Het heeft geofferd goed en bloed Hy het geoffer goed en bloed It sacrificed property and blood
Voor vrijheid en voor recht Vir Vryheid en vir reg For freedom and for justice.
Komt burgers! laat de vlaggen wapp'ren Kom burgers! laat die vlae wapper Come on, burghers, let's wave the flags,
Ons lijden is voorbij Ons lyding is verby Our suffering is over;
Roemt in de zege onzer dapp'ren Roem in die sege van onse dapp'res Praise the victories of our heroes:
Dat vrije volk zijn wij! 'n Vrye volk is ons! We are the free nation!
Dat vrije volk, dat vrije volk 'n Vrye volk, 'n Vrye volk The free nation, the free nation,
Dat vrije, vrije volk zijn wij! 'n Vrye, Vrye volk is ons! We are the free, free nation!
   Second verse
Kent gij dat land zo schaars bezocht Ken jy die land so min bekend Do you know the land, so rarely visited
En toch zo heerlijk schoon En tog so heerlik skoon And yet so wonderful;
Waar de natuur haar wond'ren wrocht Waar die natuur haar wonders skenk Where the nature creates its wonders,
En kwistig stelt ten toon? En kwistig stel ten toon And displays them luxuriantly?
Transvalers! laat ons feestlied schallen Transvalers! Laat ons feeslied galm Transvaalers, let's ring out our anthem!
Daar waar ons volk hield stand Waar vas ons volk moet staan Where our nation held out,
Waar onze vreugdeschoten knallen Waar onse vreugdeskote g'knalt Where we are firing our salutes,
Daar is ons vaderland! Daar is ons vaderland! There is our native land!
Dat heerlijk land, dat heerlijk land 'n Heerlik land, 'n Heerlik land The wonderful land, the wonderful land
Dat is, dat is ons vaderland! Dit is, Dit is ons vaderland! That is, that is our native land!
   Third verse
Kent gij de Staat, nog maar een kind Ken jy die staat, nog maar 'n kind Do you know the state, still a child
In 's werelds Statenrij In wêrelds statery In the rank of the world's states,
Maar toch door't machtig Brits bewind Maar tog deur magtig Brits bewind But by the mighty Britain
Weleerd verklaard voor vrij? Weleer verklaar as vry Once declared free?
Transvalers! edel was uw streven Transvalers! edel was ons strewe Transvaalers! Noble was your strive,
En pijnlijk onze smaad En pynlik onse smaad And painful our shame,
Maar God die uitkomst heeft gegeven Maar God wat uitkoms het gegewe But God was our salvation,

Looft onze God! looft onze God! Loof onse God! loof onse God! Praise our God! Praise our God!
Looft onze God voor land en Staat! Loof onse God vir land en staat! Praise our God for land and state!
Die Stem van Suid-Afrika (English: The Call of South Africa) was the national anthem of South Africa from 1957 to 1994,and shared national anthem status with Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika until 1997, when a new hybrid anthem was adopted. It was also the anthem for South-West Africa (modern Namibia) under South African mandate until 1990.

In May 1918, C.J. Langenhoven wrote an Afrikaans poem called Die Stem, for which music was composed by the Reverend Marthinus Lourens de Villiers in 1921.It was widely used by the South African Broadcasting Corporation in the 1920s, which played it at the close of daily broadcasts, along with God Save the King. It was sung publicly for the first time on 31 May 1928.It was not translated into English until 1952, while God Save the Queen did not cease to have official status until 1957. The poem originally had only three verses, but the government asked the author to add a fourth verse with a religious theme.

The anthem speaks throughout of commitment to the Vaderland (father land) and to God. However, the anthem was generally disliked by black South Africans, who saw it as triumphalist and associated it with the apartheid regime where one verse shows dedication to Afrikaners. As the dismantling of apartheid began in the early 1990s, South African teams were readmitted to international sporting events, which presented a problem as to the choice of national identity South Africa had to present. Agreements were made with the African National Congress that Die Stem would not be sung at rugby matches, but at a rugby union test match against New Zealand in 1992, an instrumental version of it was played, and the crowd sang along, instead of the agreed moment of silence for peace and democracy in South Africa. At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona that year, Schiller's Ode to Joy, as set to Beethoven's music, was used instead, along with a neutral Olympic flag.

In spite of this, Die Stem retained official status after the advent of full democracy which followed the 1994 general election. The anthem shared equal status with Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika, which had long been a traditional hymn used by the ANC. In a remarkable gesture in 1995, Die Stem was sung by a black choir at the Rugby World Cup final match. The practice of singing two different anthems had been a cumbersome arrangement during the transitional phase of the new South African era. In 1997, following the adoption of a new constitution, a new hybrid anthem was introduced, which combined Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika and Die Stem. Only the first verse of the Stem was sung at schools and ceremonies in both official languages prior 1994.

Die Stem van Suid-Afrika The Call of South Africa Literal translation from Afrikaans
   First verse

Uit die blou van onse hemel, Ringing out from our blue heavens, From the blue of our heaven
Uit die diepte van ons see, From our deep seas breaking round, From the depths of our sea,
Oor ons ewige gebergtes Over everlasting mountains, Over our eternal mountain ranges
Waar die kranse antwoord gee. Where the echoing crags resound, Where the cliffs give answer
Deur ons vêr verlate vlaktes From our plains where creaking wagons, Through our far-deserted plains
Met die kreun van ossewa. Cut their trails into the earth, With the groan of ox-wagon
Ruis die stem van ons geliefde, Calls the spirit of our country, Rises the voice of our beloved,
Van ons land Suid-Afrika. Of the land that gave us birth. Of our country South Africa
Ons sal antwoord op jou roepstem, At thy call we shall not falter, We will answer to your calling,
Ons sal offer wat jy vra: Firm and steadfast we shall stand, We will offer what you ask
Ons sal lewe, ons sal sterwe, At thy will to live or perish, We will live, we will die
Ons vir jou, Suid-Afrika. O South Africa, dear land. We for Thee, South Africa
   Second verse

In die murg van ons gebeente, In our body and our spirit, In the marrow of our bones
in ons hart en siel en gees, In our inmost heart held fast; In our heart and soul and spirit
In ons roem op ons verlede, In the promise of our future, In the glory of our past
In ons hoop op wat sal wees. And the glory of our past; In our hope of what will be
In ons wil en werk en wandel, In our will, our work, our striving, In our will and work and wander,
Van ons wieg tot aan ons graf. From the cradle to the grave- From our crib to our grave
Deel geen ander land ons liefde, There's no land that shares our loving, Share no other land our love,
Trek geen ander trou ons af. And no bond that can enslave. No other loyalty can sway us.
Vaderland, ons sal die adel, Thou hast borne us and we know thee, Fatherland! We will bear the nobility
Van jou naam met ere dra: May our deeds to all proclaim Of your name with honour:
Waar en trou as Afrikaners, Our enduring love and service Dedicated and true as Afrikaners,
Kinders van Suid-Afrika. To thy honour and thy name. Children of South Africa
   Third verse

In die songloed van ons somer, In the golden warmth of summer, In the sunglow of our summer,
in ons winternag se kou, In the chill of winter's air, In our winter night's cold
In die lente van ons liefde, In the surging life of springtime, In the spring of our love,
in die lanfer van ons rou. In the autumn of despair; In the autumn of our sorrow
By die klink van huw'liksklokkies, When the wedding bells are chiming, At the sound of wedding bells,
by die kluit-klap op die kis. Or when those we love do depart, At the stonefall on the coffin.
Streel jou stem ons nooit verniet nie, Thou dost know us for thy children Soothes your voice us never in vain,
Weet jy waar jou kinders is. And dost take us to thy heart You know where your children are.
Op jou roep sê ons nooit née nie, Loudly peals the answering chorus; At your call we never say no,
Sê ons altyd, altyd ja: We are thine, and we shall stand, We always, always say yes:
Om te lewe, om te sterwe - Be it life or death, to answer To live, to die -
Ja, ons kom, Suid-Afrika. To thy call, beloved land. Yes, we come South Africa
   Fourth verse

Op U Almag vas vertrouend In thy power, Almighty, trusting, On your almight steadfast entrusted
het ons vadere gebou: Did our fathers build of old; Had our fathers built:
Skenk ook ons die krag, o Here! Strengthen then, O Lord, their children Give to us also the strength, o Lord!
Om te handhaaf en te hou. To defend, to love, to hold- To sustain and to preserve.
Dat die erwe van ons vadere That the heritage they gave us That the heritage of our fathers
Vir ons kinders erwe bly: For our children yet may be; For our children heritage remain
Knegte van die Allerhoogste, Bondsmen only to the Highest Servants of the almighty,
Teen die hele wêreld vry. And before the whole world free. Against the whole world free.
Soos ons vadere vertrou het, As our fathers trusted humbly, As our fathers trusted,
Leer ook ons vertrou, o Heer: Teach us, Lord to trust Thee still; Teach us also to trust, o Lord:
Met ons land en met ons nasie Guard our land and guide our people With our land and with our nation
Sal dit wel wees, God regeer. In Thy way to do Thy will. It will be well, God reigns.

The national anthem of the Orange Free State (Afrikaans: Vrystaatse Volkslied, Dutch: Volkslied van de Oranje Vrijstaat) was used from 1854 until 1902 as the national anthem of the Orange Free State.
Ten zegen strekken moog'!
Ten zegen strekken moog'!
Heil, driewerf heil de dierb're Staat,
het Volk, de President, de Raad!
Ja, bloei' naar ons gezang
De Vrijstaat en zijn burgerij,
In deugden groot, van smetten vrij,
Nog tal van eeuwen lang!
Nog tal van eeuwen lang!
Raise, burghers, the song of freedom
and our own existence as a people.
Free from foreign bonds,
Holds our small community
founded on order, law and justice
Rank among the states
Rank among the states
Even though our land has a small beginning,
we step into the future with courage,
our eye fixed on God,
Who does not shame who builds on Him
and trusts in Him as a fortress
that does not yield to any storms
that does not yield to any storms
Look down in mercy
on our President, o Lord!
Be Thou his recourse
The task that rests on his shoulders
may he fulfill with loyalty and eagerness
to the benefit of people and state
to the benefit of people and state
Protect, o God, the Council of the land
Guide it by your Fatherly Hand
Illuminate it from above
So that its work may be sanctified
and may serve to bless
fatherland and citizenry.
fatherland and citizenry.
Hail, thrice hail, the beloved State,
the People, the President, the Council!
Yes, may flourish at our song
the Free State and its citizens.
great in virtue, free of stains
for many ages to come!

To attain a goal through ideology you need two things: a vision for a better future but also a vision of terrible evil if the alternative to the vision is followed.  An ideology always benefits some elite groups, and the one-world ideology benefits multi-national corporations that get the mineral rights.  The process is very corrupt: Western governments appropriate tax money paid by their citizens and transfer it to elites in the Third World for the mineral rights to go to multi-national corporations; this also frees populations to be brought to the west as cheap labour and our work to be relocated where people live on subsistence wages.

Having encouraged wage-slaves from the Third World they publicly apologise for historical slavery! There is racial genocide of the South African Boers taking place as I write and the Western media know all about it because they have agents and reporters there, but keep it from the outside world, presumably to allow it to go on.It follows on from what was done to French Algerians, the Belgians of Congo, and the Portuguese of Angola and Mozambique, and what is happening in Zimbabwe.  All these peoples were violently forced off lands which their ancestors had occupied for centuries. It was done with the encouragement of the US and British governments and made possible by finance taken from their own taxpayers for the purpose.  What is behind this?  It is what is now called Globalisation, which is a euphemism for the attempt to create a New World Order.
African-ruled countries are a variation on a theme of total corruption, and it is a matter of time before South Africa collapses. The 3.5 million Whites remaining might slow that process but the end result is inevitable and Western elites and journalists must take responsibility. The chaos on the railways is an indicator. Locos are not turning up at coal mines to collect fully-loaded trains, and the power stations are out for coal. The electricity generating plants are fast deteriorating and break down regularly, and the country has been plagued with power cuts for the last few years. The ANC is still dominated by members of the South African Communist Party, they are anti-white racists, and they have a vigorous land confiscation programme on the statute books. Farmers and their families are regularly murdered.
These things are little reported in the west because the liberal-left media fully support the ANC as they fully supported Mugabe in 1980 and thereafter and for the realities to be broadcast by our media would demonstrate the real facts of African rule and destroy the unrealistic ideology of racial equality that they desperately need to believe in else their whole falls and their lives have been wasted.
The dream was Mandela accepting the Nobel Peace Prize for all who have opposed racism. It was awarded to him, the ANC and all South Africa’s people.  The reward was to be freedom and democracy in an open society which respected the rights of all individuals. This is the fantasy.  What is the reality?  Mass genocide of Boer farmers. The genocide is happening on the farms where Boers are being murdered, but not just Boers, Indian farmers are also targeted; the targets are usually defenseless, especially old people. The government does nothing to prevent attacks, so the farmers have begun to co-operate in mutual defence.  That the Black government wants Boers harmed and driven from their land as indicated by their programmes to force Boers to sell their property to blacks. These programmes are to remove a huge percentage of white farmers and can give these farms to blacks.

At the beginning of the decade there were 40,000 White farmers in South Africa and there have been is 3,037 murdered in racial genocide and more than 20,000 armed attacks perpetrated by groups of militant, young Black racists on commercial farmers, since the ANC came to power in 1994. This is certainly higher as the South African government and police, with the world’s press keep it covered up. Boers are often tortured or raped first, by boiling water forced down their throats, tendons cut, burnings,  personal humiliations - most perpetrators are protected by Blacks within government and the police and not tried.  Now ask yourselves, gentle readers, when did you see this on television news or read about it in your quality newspaper?
The idealism that accompanied the birth of new South Africa has been destroyed by black rule yet the rainbow nation is still a fantasy to Western elites. They need to believe in it or face the reality that racial equality does not exist. The dream of truth and reconciliation and the deification of Nelson Mandela make it hard to accept that after whites gave way to Blacks the Boer minority would be subjected to racial genocide.  Boers, you see,  have not been sentimentalised,  are not figures of sympathy but dehumanised as racists so their murder is not seen as important

The SA government forbids the publishing of South African police crime statistics without their permission.  Media crime reports are vetted by the police. The world’s media want to pretend the new government is responsible or face the fact that races are not equal on one hand; on the other, to keep the overseas aid for mineral rights deals quiet.
Interpol’s global murder figures for South Africa are about double the number of “recorded murders,” the farm murder rate is four times the official South African murder average. The world’s leading authority on genocide, Dr Gregory Stanton of “Genocide Watch”, stated how serious the Boer genocide is in his 2002 report.SA Blacks, especially ANC youth, still sing the old ANC resistance song “Kill The Boer”. This shows their purpose.  The Boer is just a farmer but the grudge goes on.  Boers are honest, taciturn people work who hard with their hands. Their children consider leaving but have no country to return to. The “Kill The Boer” slogan has been ruled hate speech by the SA Human Rights Commission because it incites people to kill Afrikaners.  But the ANC sing “shaya ma buru” at public meetings all over South Africa.  The UN Genocide Convention declared that ruling regimes killing ethnic minorities is legally genocide and could be pursued in the International Criminal Court.

The new rulers have imposed racial quotas that deny work to most young Afrikaners, whether or not they have the right qualifications. Mbeki’s programme of Black Economic Empowerment is called “rectifying action” -  Affirmative Action.  Thousands of ANC civil servants give preferential treatment to blacks over whites and even browns.  “Progress” plans are implemented, fines and other sanctions imposed.  In most cases it’s an unqualified or illiterate black who gets the job.  Whites are left with begging or emigration.
If the farmers are wiped-out the rest of South Africa and parts of southern Africa will be plunged into famine: as in Zimbabwe the Boer genocide may lead to the death of millions by starvation and outbreaks of Cholera.Does anyone protest?  Archbishop Desmond Tutu criticised Black Economic Empowerment, but because it enriches such a small minority of already powerful blacks not because it impoverishes the white minority. His world-famous moral indignation does not stretch that far. People put themselves first when community spirit breaks down and Afrikaner intellectuals want to keep their own jobs so conform to the black apartheid system like the Judenräte under the Nazis. Those who criticise Black Economic Empowerment are de-humanised as racists. Yet, the government replacing 35,000 commercial South African farmers by blacks is more than imposing job quotas in industry and commerce.  The farmers are landowners and have a special bond with their territory. The authorities are undermining that and the SAHRC has endorsed the withdrawal of commandos from rural areas to leave the Boers open to murder and banned the term “ farm attacks” from the SA Rural Protection Plan as it links the Boers to their land and makes clear what people are being targeted but these are now the more abstract “murders” which is vague and gives the impression that it could happen to anybody.

The Government is made an inventory of South Africa’s farmers by race to …

... monitor the patterns of land ownership as it implements land reform, the deeds registration system would be improved to reflect nationality, race and gender of land owners.

There has been legislation to make it possible for the government to expropriate assets summarily without having to apply in advance to a court. The ANC is rewriting the South African Constitution but not stating what its being replaced with.In 1991 the White population of South Africa was 5.1 million however, as of 2007 the official White population of South Africa was its lowest of 4.2 million, even though millions of White refugees from other parts of Africa added to South Africa’s White population in recent years. Whites are persecuted and dispossessed for being White leaving them unable to afford council tax so they end up living in shanty huts in Black neighbourhoods which hate them because of their race. An example is the ‘Affirmative Action’ policy of the national school netball championships committee -  teams which do not have enough Black children have points given to the opposing side before the game has started!
This could develop into full scale racial genocide and ethnic cleansing like in Zimbabwe and the Belgian Congo before it which was another of the richest Nations in Africa but is now war torn.  The elites know the history but keep doing it to African countries. The killings show savagery and brutality as most are tortured and die slowly and in agony yet in many of the murders, no property is stolen.  This shows a savage, uncivilised hatred for fellow humans that we can not comprehend but the authorities and international media pass it off as “crime related” when it is racial genocide. It will continue to deteriorate for Whites, especially poor ones as Jacob Zuma could be next President.  He is openly racist,he has convictions for rape and embezzlement and he believes a shower can cure AIDS!

In 2006 there were 55,000 reported rapes in South Africa but official estimates are that another 450,000 rapes were not reported.  Therefore, about 1,300 women can be expected to be raped every day. A study by Interpol, the international police agency, revealed that South Africa has the most rapes in the world -  a women being raped every 17 seconds and this does not include the number of child rape victims.
Interpol estimated that one in every two women in South Africa would be raped. Raping children as a cure for AIDS is a vile practice. The Telegraph reported on 11 Nov 2001 that on an alleged rape of a nine-month-old baby girl by six men in a remote part of rural South Africa was part of an 80 per cent rise in child sexual abuse over a year, much of it connected with the Aids pandemic.More than 67,000 cases of rape and sexual assaults against children were reported last year, compared with 37,500 in 1998. Some of the victims were only six- months-old. Many die from their injuries, others contract HIV. The largest increase in attacks has been against children under seven. There is a prevalent superstition that having sex with children cures Aids. Police said at least one of the men who raped the nine-month-old girl is HIV-positive. The baby has also been tested for the virus and given anti-retroviral drugs as a precaution.

What can we do?  People can contact their democratic representatives and pressure them.  They can write to the media.  They can post on internet blogs and circulate the information round the net. They can point out that western elites are ignoring a genocide which they themselves brought about by forcing the change in governing class. They could demand motions be introduced in their respective parliaments urging the SA government not to abolish the SA rural Commando System and leave the Boers open to racial genocide for ideological reasons. They could demand that it be clear to the South African government that this genocide is now being publicised around the world, and call on them to condemn white ethnic cleansing and racial genocide of whites.

"The death of Mr Terreblanche is a declaration of war by the black community of South Africa to the white community that has been killed for 10 years on end."

Eugene Terreblanche, leader of the Afrikaner Resistance Movement (AWB), was found brutally and savagely bludgeoned to death at his farm in South Africa's North West province. A 21-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy have been arrested and charged with his murder.Every single headline calls Terreblanche a "white supremacist," alluding to his position in the waning days of the apartheid government, thirty-odd years ago. But the real story here is not that Terreblanche was a "white supremacist" -- if he really was (and I know how the left loves to throw around those labels). Whether he was or not, the man was brutally murdered, and I had to go through ten newspaper accounts to find out how he was murdered. The liberal media had to dehumanize him first. And not one newspaper account speaks of Black supremacism -- yet that is the really important story in South Africa today. All I see in South Africa is Black supremacism. Terreblanche may have been a white supremacist, but he's the dead one.

The white genocide is heating up in South Africa: South Africa race tension grows. The whites in South Africa are keenly aware of the plans to kill them, better known as "The night of the long knives." They expect it to happen very soon after the death of Mandela, but to tell this to the world is a waste of energy. Atlas has been reporting on this horror that the savages in the media ignore.More than 3,000 White farmers have been murdered. The Boer farmers in South Africa are on Genocide Watch.org Alert.Julius Malema, head of the ruling ANC's (African National Congress) Youth League, sings the racially charged apartheid-era song with the words "kill the Boer." South Africa's High Court ruled that the song was hate speech, although the ANC is appealing. The African National Congress (ANC) has been South Africa's governing party, supported by its tripartite alliance with the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) and the South African Communist Party (SACP), since the establishment of non-racial democracy in April 1994. It defines itself as a "disciplined force of the left".

Under ANC rule (which is communist party rule), the government has stopped reporting the race of murder victims and the race of the murderer. This is because the international community (mainly GenocideWatch.org) was noticing that there was a disproportionate amount of whites being murdered in South Africa -- so the ANC stopped reporting the race of victims of murder, so that there would be no way to track if murders were race based. Problem solved.Boer is Afrikaans for a farmer, but is sometimes used as a disparaging term for any white in South Africa. The genocide of Boers taking place in South Africa is never spoken of. Particularly the Boer Farmers -- it is called Plaas Moorde. In America you find little to no dialogue about the genocide of thousands of farmers in South Africa, because it's black against white.

It is politically incorrect to call attention to the deaths of these human beings. And we have been taught to believe that the ANC and Nelson Mandela are the "good guys." The western media has made all whites in South Africa out to be racist monsters. This is simply not the case, and I would remind people that one of the steps to genocide is to dehumanize the target -- dehumanize the Boer. (more)What is happening in South Africa against the White population is a crime against humanity. Savage. And no one will speak of it. I must warn you that the following two links are xtremely graphic. The vet that sent them to me said, "even with 20 years in the US Military, I was shocked at what I saw. So horrific as to almost be unbelievable". Afrcian Crisis and here,Look at Afrikaner Genocide Archives
